A timeless European countryside café where hospitality, nostalgia, and thoughtful design come together.
Nestled within Eldeco Centre, Malviya Nagar, New Delhi, Rose Café is a boutique hospitality project designed to transport visitors from the pace of urban life into the warmth and romance of the European countryside. Conceived as the second chapter of Delhi's much-loved original Rose Café, the project celebrates handcrafted design, timeless materials, and spaces that encourage people to slow down, reconnect, and create memorable experiences.

Designed by Acroterion Labs, the 1,800 sq.ft. café reinterprets the familiar charm of English country homes through a contemporary hospitality lens. Every corner has been carefully curated to feel intimate, welcoming, and authentic rather than theatrical. The design embraces imperfection, layering vintage furniture, handcrafted details, heirloom décor, and soft textures to create an environment that feels lived in from the very first visit.

Unlike conventional cafés that prioritize seating capacity, Rose Café was designed around the guest experience. The planning creates a natural rhythm between arrival, waiting, dining, and quiet moments of pause. An intelligently planned L-shaped layout provides two welcoming entrances while separating movement and seating without visual barriers. Cozy corners, communal tables, and intimate window seats allow every guest to find their own comfortable place, whether visiting alone, working remotely, or gathering with friends and family.
The design language is inspired by the relaxed elegance of rural Europe. Soft blush pinks, powder blues, warm whites, and natural timber create a gentle backdrop for hand-painted rose murals, exposed brick walls, vintage iron chandeliers, lace curtains, floral upholstery, antique mirrors, and carefully restored furniture. Every decorative element contributes to a story rather than functioning as ornament alone, creating a boutique café that feels personal and timeless.

Natural light plays an equally important role in defining the experience. Large glazed openings illuminate the interiors throughout the day, highlighting layered textures and handcrafted materials while maintaining a seamless visual connection with the outdoor seating. The charming alfresco café extends the experience beyond the interiors, allowing guests to enjoy quiet mornings, leisurely brunches, and evening conversations within a lush urban setting.
Behind the warmth of the interiors lies a carefully resolved hospitality plan. The open dining space is supported by a discreetly positioned service and kitchen area that ensures operational efficiency without interrupting the guest experience. Furniture layouts were developed to balance intimacy with flexibility, allowing the café to comfortably accommodate everything from casual coffee meetings to larger social gatherings.

Materiality became central to the design philosophy. Exposed brick, distressed timber, antique metal finishes, handcrafted upholstery, floral textiles, vintage crockery displays, and bespoke furniture combine to create a rich sensory experience that reflects the café's home-style culinary philosophy. Every finish was selected not only for its visual character but also
for durability and long-term hospitality performance.
Crafted Through Details
The character of Rose Café lies in the countless handcrafted details that reveal themselves gradually. From bespoke wrought iron window grills delicately shaped into blooming roses to custom-designed metal chandeliers inspired by climbing vines, every element was conceived as part of a larger design story rather than a decorative afterthought. Handcrafted lace pendant lamps cast a warm, diffused glow, while floral motifs subtly reappear across furniture, upholstery, and architectural details, creating a cohesive visual language throughout the café.
Furniture was carefully sourced and restored to capture the romance of European country homes, with carved timber chairs, vintage cabinets, distressed finishes, and floral upholstery selected to evoke familiarity and comfort. Every fabric, curtain, lace detail, and handcrafted furnishing was chosen not only for its aesthetic character but also for its texture, durability, and contribution to the café's immersive atmosphere. Even the smallest details—from custom rose-inspired metalwork and decorative lighting to curated crockery displays and handcrafted finishes—were designed to create moments of discovery, ensuring every visit feels intimate, memorable, and uniquely Rose Café.

More than a beautifully designed café, Rose Café demonstrates how hospitality interior design can become a powerful extension of a brand. The interiors have become as recognisable as the menu itself, transforming the café into one of Delhi's most photographed boutique cafés and a destination for diners, creators, and design enthusiasts alike.

As one of Acroterion Labs' flagship hospitality interior design projects, Rose Café demonstrates our belief that successful hospitality spaces are created through storytelling, meticulous detailing, and operational intelligence. Every material, every light fitting, every piece of furniture, and every handcrafted element contributes to an experience that guests remember long after they leave. The project stands as a benchmark for boutique café design, hospitality interiors, and experiential commercial architecture in India.
